Rental Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to every booking made with Northeast Rentals to ensure a safe and smooth experience for everyone.

1Id proofs required to rent a vehicle - working id card, Aadhar card, driving license (all originals required for verification).
2Renter's driving license should have a minimum experience of about 1 year.
3Renter should not be found drunk (alcohol or other alcoholic drinks) at the time of pickup. In such a case, the booking would be cancelled and no refund will be done.
4Smoking of tobacco or weed and drinking alcoholic beverages is strictly not allowed inside the vehicle. If found, a penalty of about Rs. 10,000/- would be charged strictly.
5Carrying pets, or any commercial goods is strictly not allowed.
6Customers are not allowed to use our vehicles for any commercial purpose without our management's knowledge (e.g. giving for rentals, used for any shooting purpose).
7Renters are solely responsible for taking photos and videos of the vehicle before renting, both interior and exterior (including tyre, battery & wheel drums).
8Pickup and drop timing should be accurate as per booking timing. Any delay in pickup will not be considered and timing will be calculated as per your booking timing only.
9Any delay in drop or extensions should be informed prior to our customer service number (+91 76360 46479). If not informed, Rs. 5,000/- would be charged at the time of drop.
10For doorstep delivery, timing depends on driver availability and city traffic. Timing is calculated only after the customer receives the vehicle.
11In case of breakdown, the renter is not allowed to touch any spare parts of the vehicle without proper permission from Northeast Rentals management.
12In case of damage, repair is allowed only from authorized service centres, not local workshops. Violation attracts a penalty of Rs. 10,000/- apart from damage charges.
13Interior of the vehicle should be kept clean at the time of drop. In case of bad odor, vomit, or stains, cleaning charges of Rs. 1,500/- would be charged.
14Extra fuel will not be considered for a payment refund.
15The renter needs to pay the full payment as per quotation at the time of pickup. Early drop-off will not be considered for a refund.
16As per Indian government regulations, our vehicles are restricted from exceeding an 80 km/h speed limit for road safety and legal compliance.

Do we take security deposits before booking?+

No, we don't ask for security deposits or other paperwork expenses.

We take a small advance for booking and the rest of the money post arrival of the rider.

Do I need to inform in advance for multiple vehicles?+

Yes, in order to meet customer demand we need you to inform us in advance about the total number of vehicles you are going to take from us, along with the model.

Do you provide airport pickup and drop?+

Yes, we can provide airport pickup and drop facility, but that costs an additional charge.

Is there a free trial available?+

Yes, you can take a free ride on our vehicles for testing purposes. We also provide proper inspection and videography facilities to all our clients before renting any vehicle.
